Jesus speaks when He answers the Samaritan woman's question, . . . "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him like a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13-14.
Water is one of the most important things on this earth and
essential for life. In some places people struggle in their search for
water just to keep alive. Some of them are even willing to give everything
they have when their bodies cry out for water and there is none to be found.
It is good for us to know how important water is to life, but far more
important is this: Do we know and realize that we need the water Jesus
gives,
the "living water" that enables us to have eternal life? In conversation
with the Samaritan woman, Jesus says: the water that comes from Jacob's
well will keep us alive for a moment, but the water that comes from Him
will enable us to have eternal life.
There is also "water" offered to us in abundance by our enemies. In Psalm 73: 9-10, we see the wicked take possession of the earth and their people turn to them drinking their waters in abundance. Also in Revelation 12:15 the serpent spews out water like a river, to overtake and kill God's people. Sadly to say, many people sink in this water. In a scriptural example, 2 Tim.4:10, Paul mentions that Demas loved this world, that is the "water" of this world, so he deserted Paul and God's best for his life. There is nothing wrong with having things to enjoy in this life such as a new ministry, new job, new computer etc, but if they keep us away from Jesus who is living water, we may get lost and sink in the "water" of this world. Now is the time to choose which waters we will flow in. Just as the Samaritan woman chose Jesus as Messiah, she received living water, to overcome her past and live a full life, totally changed. We too need this same water to walk with a greater anointing. Jesus wants us to walk on the water with Him above the trials and tribulations of this life and know victory. He promised this when He said, "Whoever believes in Me, as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." John 7:38. The result will be that we will speak with new power to change people's lives just as the Samaritan woman did when she went to tell her village about Jesus! Isak Sujitno

During the construction period of the North Carolina site, there were many stressful moments. One that I remember well was the drilling of the well. To supply enough water for the house it was calculated that we needed around 12 gallons per minute. 100 feet down we were getting around 1 gallon per minute when we hit rock. My hopes were that we would drill past that layer quickly and find the 12 gallons per minute that we needed. However at 300 feet we were still in the rock and still pumping just 1 gallon per minute. Well diggers are paid by the foot. As the drilling went deeper and deeper, the price of the well went higher and higher, and I began to feel the stress. At that point I approached the drilling crew to ask them how long it would be before they got through the rock and on to the water. To my surprise they told me that everything was going well because 'THE WATER IS IN THE ROCK.' At 400 feet in the middle of the rock, we hit 15 gallons per minute and the drilling stopped. During worship the other night the Lord reminded me of this lesson. He showed me that there are some people that feel that they are hard like a rock, and because of this hardness God rejects them. Jesus knows all about stone and rocks. After all He is the 'Rock' of our salvation. Nothing is too difficult for Him. The Bible says in Luke 19:40 "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."(NIV). God does not reject us for being hard hearted or hard minded. He seeks to give us hearts of flesh, and the mind of Christ. Even if we are hard as 'rock', he can put water in the rock, and as we see in the Grand Canyon, water can break the rock. All we have to do is follow the example that Jesus gives the Samaritan woman at Jacob's well, John 4, and He will give us that water. All we have to be is thirsty for Him as the Israelites were for water in the desert and God will lead us to the 'Rock' that will satisfy us so completely that we will 'never' thirst again. I had a friend who was drilling a well at his place. The diggers dug 900 feet and gave up because there was no water. But many of us had prayed and we encouraged our friend to call another well company. When the other company came, they only went down 70 more feet and out came water - 45 gallons a minute. Many of us are like the first well company. We dig hard and long and give up just before God gives us the water that will set us free, 'THE WATER IN THE ROCK'. Be encouraged. God's Word is true. He says, seek and ye will find. Seek first His Kingdom and Righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you! Fr. Mike Chapman

The above question surfaces from time to time, but factually, The Holy
Way is not a church and never has been since its inception. As members
of The Body of Christ whether that be in a denominational or non-denominational
branch, we are called to support, love and minister in our churches as
led by The Holy Spirit. Often in the past we have been invited by various
churches to do short seminars for example on Worship, flowing in the fullness
of The Holy Spirit or on Discipleship Training. One of our steadfast intercessor's
(Joannie Tribull) recently said and I quote," Some of the greatest harvest
is in the churches."

On Wednesday, September 25, 2002, Grace M. Stube, Fr. Stube's stepmother,
was called home by the Lord at the remarkable age of 96 years. She was
a very precious lady, loved by many and known to the Stube children as
"Granny." When Fr. Ed and Barbara went overseas in the 60's, she was the
lifeline for the children who remained in the States and the link providing
family stability throughout the long years of separation. Grace was always
supportive of the work of The Holy Way and even in old age, kept in close
contact with Fr. Ed about all developments. A service of Holy Eucharist
was held at St. John in the Wilderness, Flat Rock, North Carolina on September

SHALOM! Praise to the Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ! He is our Lord! It is good to hear what God has been doing in The Holy Way ministry at Bealeton and Moravian Falls. We are excited to hear that many people from different backgrounds are coming to join with you in worship unto the Lord. In reminiscing, we have always been touched by your care for us ever since the Training Center was built here in Manado. We just pour out our thanks to God for all of you and for all of the funds you have sent over the years, to help our people. Right now, there are twenty one new students enrolled in a six month program which is a trial period. They will live here and receive foundational training before being accepted as full time students. The situation with the refugees is getting better. Some of them are still living close to the Training Center after receiving help from local people to build their dwellings. Others are trying to go back to their island of Halmahera where persecution against Christians is great, including church burnings. There are two things we ask you to pray for: 1. There are a few people in the "body" trying to impose their fleshly desires which divide and cause disunity among us. Their vision and individual desires are based on organization rather than the vision that God has given us. From the beginning, this ministry was a call to work together to build up The Body of Christ by equipping all, to be made ready for the establishment of God's Kingdom on the earth. Please pray that God will not allow division and that no one will become a "one- person- show" in the ministry. 2. There is another problem in the city of Manado that is afflicting our community. We are seeing a tremendous increase of people addicted to drugs. In a town close to the Training Center, there are at least 1000 affected by the drug "ecstasy." It is very sad. We want to help them but our facility is inadequate. We do have plans to erect a small building to provide shelter for some and also have a clinic with ministry. Please pray for this project. Give our love and greetings to the "big family" of The Holy Way. May the Lord Jesus bless you all!

Bob and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate whose name was Love. Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails. The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch. Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, because Godly Wisdom never swings at what Satan throws. The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Bob and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Bob said, "He sure doesn't look like much!" Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen. But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by. He went for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; then it continued over the fence for a home run! The Lord's team won. The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith, and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game. Bob answered that he did not know why. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith, and wisdom had won the game you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith, and Wisdom will get you on base but, only My Grace can get you Home. "For the Lord God is a sun and shield, the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly." (Ps. 84:1 1)

Dear Family at Bealeton and Moravian Falls, Praise the Lord! I wish you all well with God's protection upon you!
Brothers and Sisters I write to ask you for prayer. We have heard from
a reliable source that Jihad people are planning to attack Malang,
Lawang and Batu. These cities have a large Christian population, with many
Bible Schools and Churches. We have witnessed army troops in full gear
with guns guarding the area, actually surrounding the three cities. If
the attack happens, everything will be chaotic from the violence, just
the way it occurred in Sulawesi and Ambon.
