Are we holding on to the old in our lives instead of moving on with the Lord? --- This is a question I have been asking myself. I do believe we should take inventory periodically and seek His face in this area. The word below I received in 1999 for the Body of Christ. I believe it is a reminder for today. "The seed of faith will bear much fruit, for the soul is the eye of the body. There are many tales of woe that will ring in your ears, but I have given to My people at this time a new comprehension of what is taking place all around them in the spirit. It is of vast importance that each one take heed to what they are seeing and hearing, for it is a time and season for all things. Behold, I walk upon the earth and do a new thing in your midst. Do you not say to your brother --- "Now is the time and the hour." --- but do you believe it in your own heart? I say to you, I AM THE WAY, and do not allow that to be a stumbling block. I would have you fling off the old and allow Me to put on you the shield of faith for the new. I have come from the earth and I ask, "Whom shall I send? And who will answer My call?"" Joannie Tribull

Except when He was off to the mountaintop with his Father, Jesus was always surrounded by people; the disciples, the sick, the poor, curious ones and frequently, great multitudes. Some were friendly and others hostile, but Jesus always spoke the words they needed to hear. His words bring blessing in every situation of life! On one particular occasion, Jesus had arrived at the home of Mary and Martha in Bethany. These sisters with their brother Lazarus were close friends with Jesus, and always welcomed His visits. When Jesus sat down and began to speak, Mary immediately abandoned all of her cares and sat down too. She wanted to soak in every word and enjoy this time to listen and learn from Him. Not so with Martha. She might have preferred to sit and listen, but instead she was anxious, maybe that there wouldn't be enough food or maybe that it wouldn't be ready on time, so she kept very busy fussing about. In her upset state that Mary wasn't helping her, Martha boldly said, "Lord, don't you care?" --- "Tell her to help me!" How does Jesus answer her? Tenderly, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed." Let us apply this classical event to our own lives. In this teaching, we see a contrast between choices What should our priorities be as believers? What blinds and traps us, when our focus is on busyness, even when it involves service? Essentially, the contrast is between the "worker" and the "worshiper." Jesus still calls us! "Come, sit at My feet and listen to My voice, for I will give you rest. "I believe this is the essence of true worship. We love to worship Jesus with high praises in song, in dance, or in many other ways, but resting quietly in His Presence is awesome! It is the best way to feed our souls on a daily basis, to spend private time with Jesus before anything else. True; business and responsibilities are pressing, but making our priority of the day, that extra twenty minutes or so just being present to Him, will cause the burdens of our lives to grow amazingly light. We will be free of tension, the fear of being alone, and will not be affected by many people or the lack of one. Furthermore, we will not be confused by human voices. As Jesus spent time alone every morning with His Father, we are given this example in scripture in order to learn how to grow in inner solitude. Solitude with Christ is necessary for intimacy and spiritual growth. It is the one "key-step" in pursuing God. It is also the foundation to prepare us for God's work. Solitude provides the silence we need to hear God's voice. This is what the Lord has been teaching me. I need to put my mind and heart in the place where God sits on His throne. When I do this, I feel the refreshing water of the Holy Spirit fall upon my soul. God makes His presence self evident when we learn to sit before Him in silence. May all of us as believer's in the Lord Jesus Christ, make this our daily choice as Mary was accustomed to do, and hear the sweetness of His voice whisper in the stillness, "You have chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from you." Luke 10:38-42.

Only the Lord can "package" a weekend in such glorious fashion as He did this past April 19th through the 21st at Bealeton. Does this mean that everyone present was free of trial, burden or pain of some sort? No way! But when a group of people come together, desiring to worship and focus on Jesus Christ, His overcoming power "kicks-in," and favor is bestowed upon favor! It seems like the best way to summarize the weekend, is in the following manner. I quote from the letter of a young father who was there with his wife and five children. "Last night, my wife and I took Rachel, (our oldest daughter) out for her birthday. At dinner she shared something that happened to her in one of the Saturday meetings at Bealeton. I asked her why she didn't share it with the assembly? ... She said she wasn't sure that it fit, but I think it was definitely from the Lord. The following is Rachel's best recollection of what happened." "I had my eyes closed and saw this swirling mist type fog, kind of cream in color. Out of it walked a Man whom I knew to be Jesus and He said, "I AM." He then disappeared back into the swirling mist. Second, a Dove appeared and said "I AM," then It too disappeared back into the swirling mist. Then a Great Swirling Mass of Glory and Power, which I understood to be GOD came out of the mist and said, "I AM." This also disappeared into the swirling mist. After this, I saw a Child about twelve years old in a sitting position with knees to His chest come forth and say, "I AM." The Child disappeared also. Next, a Lamb came forth and said, "I AM," and disappeared like the others. Finally, a Lion came out and said, "I AM," and He stood there. ... He did not disappear like the others. Eventually, He slowly moved back into the swirling mist and the vision ended." There is no doubt that the majority of us, returned home knowing in our spirits, that we each had been changed from one degree of glory to another, because Jesus was very present to us by the Spirit. Then learning about this vision after the fact, it seems to verify that we really did experience the Shekinah Glory of God, as a yielded people gathered to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth! What an awesome time! Thank You Jesus! Lolli Hart

We have been having some exciting times at the Holy Way House in NC. In March we had a Renewal In Christ Ministry (RICM) weekend with Fr. Gary & Judith Dalmasso. About 45 people attended. We enjoyed wonderful times of Praise and Worship, entering into the Lord's presence, along with times of teaching and ministry. The Lord is so faithful. One lady came up for healing for her back. She had suffered with multiple problems for years and the Lord had begun the healing process by straightening her upper back. She asked if we would pray for her lower back. As I laid hands on her back, I could feel her spine moving and being healed! Besides physical healing there were times of inner healing and deliverance. It was an exciting weekend and we look forward to the Dalmassos and RICM being back with us again in the future. We said goodbye to Cesar the weekend of the 20th of April, as he returned to CA. Cesar came out of the gang and drug culture. He gave his life to the Lord and came for discipleship to NC. He was with us for one month and then returned home for Christmas. He returned to NC after Christmas to spend an additional four months with us. The Lord did a great work in him and we ask for your prayers for protection for Cesar as he returns to CA and that the Lord will not only protect and nurture him but cause him to be a mighty witness to those who are in bondage to drugs and the gang mentality. We continue to do prayer walks, especially through trailer parks in the Hispanic community. Michael has also been out and about speaking to and praying for people, leading some to Jesus Christ and encouraging others who back slide to return to Him. The Lord has been so faithful to us and we give Him the Glory. Linda Chapman

On Thursday, April 11, 2002, Jean Curtis Callaham, entered into the Joy of the Lord! Jean was a beloved member of The Holy Way, going back many years. In fact, she and her husband Don graciously opened their home in the 70's to Ed, Barbara and the Stube children when they were on furlough. Jean was also a regular attendee at Holy Convocation since its inception. The daily insights given to her by the Lord, were always a source of great inspiration for all. At the funeral, it was refreshing to recall her function as evangelist. Many people of all ages testified to her loving them, guiding them and always pointing them to Jesus. We shall all miss her radiant smile , and the Light and Love of Jesus that was a consistent reflection of her very being. At the same time, we thank God that she now rests in His Presence forever! May the Lord Himself, comfort Don in his grief, and all of their children
and grandchildren.

Dear Herry, Bless you in Christ Jesus. He is Lord. My dearest condolences to you on behalf of your dear dad who's now with Jesus. I was planning the year before to travel out to see him that spring, but God had a different appointment for us both. My brother I'm writing for two reasons. My first reason for writing is about Dad Stube's book, According To The Pattern. I love that book and it has provided me with many answers to questions that previously held my mind. I have read it and read it. As you may recall, you sent me several copies of the book to pass along, which I have done and am already out of all the copies which were sent to me. They are a marvelous resource and everyone I have given them to have unanimously agreed that the book is not only helpful, but a necessary tool in building and multiplying God's church in these days. I feel it is must reading for all Bible students and pastors. I took several of the books with me to Africa and passed them along to many dear pastors. Every one who has read it or borrowed it, has had glowing reports about it. I loaned it to a pastor friend of mine there and he wanted to keep it in the worst way. As God would have it, I had already promised it to another pastor. So I promised to send him his own copy. This is where you come in. You're my only source to the book and I was wondering how I could obtain another 50 or so copies. I would even love as many as 200 or more. By God's grace I would love to champion the book, or rather, the message in the book wherever I go. Please contact me to know how much I should pay for the books and all the necessary information. The second reason for which I'm writing is to become more acquainted with you personally. I feel a need to connect with you and the brethren there. I have found in you all a purity and a simplicity in your walk with the Lord that is refreshing and I'm highly drawn to it. That was the thing that drew me to your dad, I think. I found a simplicity in the things he wrote that were easy for me to grasp, not like some deep theological thoughts to high and lofty to see, but simple. That is why I feel confident to pass this book along to so many. I want to know about your family. I want to know about your ministry and travels, your experiences with Dad Stube and I want you to know about me. My heart is open. Let's fellowship, if even long distance. But what distance is there in the spirit? Be blessed, my brother. May our God find you abounding in His will. Yours in Christ Jesus. Pastor JPB

We enjoyed very much fellowshipping with The Holy Way. This was the
first monthly gathering we had been able to attend although we had joined
with you for a couple of Friday 7:30 a.m. prayer meetings. It is
delightful to be with a group who take the time to worship and listen to
the Lord, but who also have a vision for the lost.

The Holy Way Announcements HOLY CONVOCATION 2002. Holy Convocation will take place at the Claggett Center, in Buckeystown, Maryland, July 14th through July 19th, and is fully booked. We do know that many of you will be with us in the spirit, by The Holy Spirit. We also covet your prayer, and afterward, hope to hear from you what the Lord impressed upon your hearts. BONDING WITH THE BODY. On the first weekend of every month, a small team has been taking off from Bealeton, Virginia, to celebrate a long weekend of prayer, worship and fellowship together with the Chapman's and others, at Moravian Falls, NC. This has proven to be a very worthy endeavor. If you are interested in being part of this gathering, just get in touch with Herry or Dolly to make the arrangements. Cassette Tape Offer " PRAYING FOR THE CITY."
Fr. Stube delivered an intriguing prophetic message at a New Wineskins
NC, Conference in 1997. This message has more meaning now because
of the terrorists attack on our nation. To order, please write to the Bealeton
address.
...and Jesus said "Feed My Lambs" Little did Nazar and Isaac know when they came to minister in America
that feeding baby "Bambi" would be included also. This little lamb
was rejected by its mama and yes, Bealeton has a herd of sheep to care
for. They are called Jacob's sheep and have black spots. They don't require
shearing.
