"A highway shall be there and it shall be called
The Holy Way " Isaiah
35:8

March-April 2002
The Holy Way is small groups of people gathering
around Jesus, like His first disciples, to worship Him, listen for
His voice, to enjoy His fellowship,
to know and walk in His glory and to participate
in His Kingdom works.

The Annual Meeting

In your midst, I AM preparing the way for My people to awaken to the call that I have placed upon their lives. Do not put your hand to the plow and turn back to what is behind, but keep your focus on Me. - - - Take heed to what you see and hear, surrender all. Do not quench The Holy Spirit within. Be open to the truth for the truth will set you free. Tremble not when the enemy crouches at your door. "Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit," saith the Lord. Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves Me.
He who loves Me will be loved by My Father and I too will love him and
show Myself to him. John 14:21

THE ANNUAL MEETING - January 19, 2002

| Twenty-four faithful members
gathered at Bealeton for this remarkable weekend. A snow forecast deterred
some folks from Pennsylvania but we were blessed that Helen Anderberg and
Pastor Grant Hill from Minnesota were able to make it, coming in by air
on Friday. Indeed a lovely snowfall started on Saturday afternoon, providing
much beauty and a frolicsome spirit for all, but especially for the Indonesians.
In re-reading notes, it's difficult to do a justifiable summary. There were so many wonderful words of wisdom, prayers and prophecies delivered, and we all "tasted" the sweetness of the Lord in our midst. There were exhortations about remaining in intimate prayerful relationship with Jesus; the need to stay focused on the Lord's desires for His Body; and the need to differentiate between what it is to do that which seems "good", yet forfeit His "best". (Discernment) We also heard about the hazards of not growing in faith and freedom because of being double- minded. An example would be believing that God is Love yet at the same time not believing that God loves you!. Because our battles are spiritual, God wants to step in and strip away those strongholds. He wants us to be free, to be empowered with His Spirit! At the Business Meeting, we had a Secretary's report for the year from Bill Martin, giving a thorough synopsis of all the 2001 meetings. An attachment with plans drawn by Becky Hayfield were distributed, for a possible addition to the Worship Center, but direction from the Lord is still needed on this. Also, Bill gave a handout of Fr. Stube's last prophesy, delivered at the January 2001 meeting, just two weeks before he died. Bob Tribull, our Treasurer, gave an excellent report also. Magnificent changes are taking place as new people join The Holy Way. We do need to adhere to the guidelines of the IRS and the law. A financial report was distributed and explained. The Lord has been good to The Holy Way. At the end of the business meeting, the 2002-2003 Officers and Trustees were elected as follows: President - Herry Stube
At the conclusion, on Sunday, Pastor Grant left us with some noteworthy
thoughts to hold onto. Quote: The best thing about ministry, is when you
feed the truth to a child of God and they are able to digest it. You see
a strengthening, a quickening and maturing in Christ coming to fulfillment,
coming to what God created them to be. So truth is paramount and it is
exciting when this happens. I think Jesus felt the same way with His disciples.
He was bringing forth truth. They were receiving it, trying to yield to
it and apply it to their lives. But then on the flip side, probably the
hardest thing in ministry is when there is deception or lies, and you see
your sheep feeding on the same. It's like a cancer. It corrupts and corrodes.
I'm sure this was really hard for Jesus likewise. When Iris brought up
eschatology, it reminded me that when you read the end of the book, you
know that you are on the winning side. But when Jesus was asked about the
end by His disciples, the first thing on His mind was not the end, but
as spoken in Luke 21, it was "watch out." He didn't want His sheep and
lambs to be deceived. Here, He is with these men of God for three
years, yet He says watch out, be astute, be aware of your surroundings,
and in Matthew 24, watch out that no one will deceive you, with the warning
that some won't finish the race.

I would just like you to read one of the many e-mails that we receive frequently from our friends that have been coming here to Bealeton: "Hi Herry!" - "I just want to let you know about Friday. There will be about ten people coming in the morning. Nancy plans on bringing breakfast food. I won't be able to come because of work but will meet you on Saturday." Wayne & Nancy. More and more new people including pastors have been gathering with us for prayer and worship, some coming every morning and night. Many come a long distance, driving for an hour or more. As you know, The Holy Way has never advertised or contacted people about our mission. But through those who have been here and been touched by the Presence of The Holy Spirit, the word has started to spread to others. God is beginning to send true worshipers among us. What a wonderful God He is! Please pray that even more people will come solely to worship and exalt Jesus. We feel a fresh new wind of The Holy Spirit is blowing all over this place and we are rejoicing! Your servant, Herry Stube |

The Holy Way concept is ripe in North Carolina. I have been telling
people rather than focus on doctrinal differences or approaches to ministry,
we need to come together in worship. The word is getting around, and now
other small groups have started to worship as we do. Recently they decided
it would be better to gather at our place on the 1st Saturday of each month.
There seems to be whispers of unity here.

My wife, five children, and myself
visited Virginia for a weekend of meetings on February 15-18. It was wonderful
to be with a people that have been willing to abandon the programs of men
entrusting the direction and the results of the meeting to the Holy Spirit.
When the Lord is allowed to move according to all that is in His heart
the word that comes forth is rich, the worship is exultant, and the people
are greatly benefited. Such was the meeting we enjoyed at The Holy Way
in Bealeton on Sunday morning. Herry and Dolly Stube along with the young
guys that serve with them hosted the meeting. The Chapmans from Moravian
Falls, North Carolina were present with their family. There was quite a
large group from New York, including our family, and many others from the
area that I did not know. These many different people from different backgrounds
and different places have never been together before as a group, and yet
flowed together in the most beautiful expression of the heart of the Lord
any could ask for. The presence of the Lord was evident from the very beginning
and lingered even into our wonderful time of fellowship afterward. There
were two words in this particular meeting that impressed me greatly. At
the very beginning there was an invitation from the Lord to come with Him
and He would show us what He sees. It was a call to come higher in the
Lord, to have our vision increased and enlarged, to learn even more how
to flow with Him and participate in what He is doing in this hour, not
leaning to our own understanding, or even what we have known and seen in
the past. The second word came through Mike Chapman and was an encouragement
to behold, measure, and see the temple of the Lord. The Lord indeed is
building a spiritual habitation for Himself, and what we experienced in
this very diverse group was a glimpse of the Lord inhabiting what He called
His glorious house. The Lord is beautifying His people with Holiness and
ooo baby they are lookin good! The Lord will fill this temple with a Glory
we have not yet known, but even now there is increase and great expectation
of more!

Floods have hit Central Java for three weeks , starting in late January.
In Jakarta and Java, at least 150 people have perished, some being swept
away in the waters and others killed in landslides. In Jakarta alone, over
100,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed. At least 50 trains which
normally serve the flood-hit north coast everyday are completely washed
out. This horrible situation touches the hearts of us unequivocally, as
members of The Holy Way, since dear Dolly Stube's entire family is afflicted
and also Nazar Tampubolon's mother. Anyone inclined to lend assistance,
can send a check to The Holy Way noting on the memo: National Flood Disaster
Fund for Indonesia.

All of The Holy Way servants worldwide, wish each one of you a very special time of pondering God's great love for creation, and all humanity, starting with Palm Sunday and walking with Jesus throughout Holy Week. Then may we gladly rejoice in a deeper understanding of the power of The Resurrection, heartily singing out "Alleluia, He is Risen as He said, Alleluia!" This is our great heritage, our glory, to be raised with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and to reign with Him, throughout eternity! Hallelujah! |

Just a little something to help with the work of the Sangir Bible Training
Center. I remember you fondly during the 80's when I used to come to St.
Paul's for Bible study sessions with Fr. Stube. I was truly saddened by
his death. May God continue to bless you for the ministries you are carrying
on with such love and devotion.
