HOLY CONVOCATION
July 20 - 25, 2003
Dear Reader's,
In reminiscing about this profound week when a group of saints gathered together at Bealeton to seek His face, the Father responded to our worship, prayers and waiting to hear His voice by pouring out His love lavishly!
It occurred to us on our last days together as a group, that having Holy Convocation on the premises for the very first time, bore great significance. Many people had walked the land prayerfully for months and years before construction began.
With this being our 25th year of holding Holy Convocations, God did His new thing in Bealeton. This land consecrated to the Lord, is "holy ground!" Consequently, our offerings became as "first fruits" unto the Lord. Hallelujah!
This issue
of the newsletter is dedicated to our latest Holy Convocation and
includes excerpts covering the entire week. We pray that the
content will bring you great blessing!
"I will instruct and teach you in the way you should
go;
I will counsel you and watch over you."
Psalm 32:8

On Sunday evening we gathered in the upper room of the Prayer House. After each attendee had been prayed-in, convocation began. Praise, Singing in the Spirit, Worship, Tongues & Interpretation continued for five days. We realize some of you may be scratching your heads and saying, "Just what is Holy Convocation?" Well, from it's origin in The Old Testament, the Lord Himself ordained it as a time for His people to come apart from the world and its tensions, just to be present to Him. This meant setting aside schedules, jobs, responsibilities and other plans for the period appointed. Some references are found in the KJV, Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23. Concerning The Holy Way, it was twenty five years ago exactly that the Lord gave a vision simultaneously to Fr. Stube and the Martin's to begin a yearly Holy Convocation for anyone "hungry" to come apart from all activity and busyness, just to be with Him. It is a most wonderful time to worship Jesus, always looking to The Holy Spirit to lead us. It is a time to share His love with others through exercising the gifts.(1Cor.14:26) It is a time to come to know Him in a new way; a time to hear His voice in the stirring times of silence. It is a time to be healed and to receive ministry, to find new freedom in the Spirit. It is genuinely a time of refreshment and renewal of faith. It is a time of fun and fellowship. Yes, we do enjoy delicious meals together. Break time also provides opportunity to get acquainted with newcomers, to rest or to play some sports, especially with the children. This year, we were especially blessed that three families took part. Finally, Holy Convocation builds unity like unto the Godhead, to the
Glory of the Father! With this said, let's look at some Prayers, Teachings,
Words of Wisdom, etc. that took place between July 20 and July
25, this year.

"This was our second convocation as a couple, and this year the addition of our baby, Jehudah. We enjoyed the discipline of silences. It was also particularly nice how each person came forth with a psalm, teaching or prophecy; also a relief that nobody rambled on. We were particularly blessed that several families took part." **************************************************************************************** *************************************************************************************** **************************************************************************************** **************************************************************************************** **************************************************************************************** ****************************************************************************************
"An awesome first time experience in God's love. I can't imagine now, not
being here in this "home"! All children of God united as "one;" family,
loving, sharing in worship and praise together! The facilities and property
are ideal for convocations."

If you've never visited us here
at Bealeton, you'll be surprised when you do! Surely it is a perfect example
of "God's Favor" to a ministry that seeks to keep Him #1 in every way!

+ + + + + + + Thank you so much for allowing us to join with you for a very special
weekend and times in the Lord. Your love and blessings are truly a demonstration
of Christ. We are confident it was a God appointed time that we came to
visit and fellowship and are now waiting on God to see what is next. The
Lord has taken something away from us in order to prepare me for something
new. While it is very exciting, it also it an opportunity to further learn
to trust on Him more completely. I don't yet know what God has in store
but somehow I believe our paths will cross again.
+ + + + + + + Warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for your encouragement and the prophetic word. It is very uplifting and a comfort for us because we are going through trials and persecution. Let's keep praying for each other. + + + + + + + I am very interested in
your website. Do you have any churches in the Los Angeles area (Indonesian
or American) that are based on the pattern laid out by Fr. Stube in "According
to the Pattern?"
