"A highway shall be there and it shall be called The Holy Way;
the unclean shall not pass over it, and fools shall not err therein."
Isaiah 35:8

The Holy Way, Inc.                                                                         April-May-June  2005

GREETINGS in the NAME of our RISEN LORD JESUS CHRIST
to each and every precious member of THE HOLY WAY!

For indeed, Christ our Passover has been sacrificed for us; therefore let us keep the feast, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Alleluia! Christ being raised from the dead will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. The death that He died, he died unto sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God; so also consider yourselves dead to sin, and alive unto God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Alleluia!  1 Cor.5:7-8 Romans 6:9-11

TIMELY TRUTHS

Beloved, I feel the Lord wanted me to share a word of encouragement. I feel He wants to remind us that we should walk in humility and gentleness with our God and Father and beside each other. (Php 2:3; Col 3:12-14)

We should be always aware that we are but jars of clay (2 Cor 4:7), fashioned by the Master Potter according to His purpose and pleasure (Ro 9:21). Let us guard our hearts (Pr 4:23)  against the sin of spiritual pride (Ro 12:16) and always be mindful that the speck in our brother or sister’s eye that we see, is really a reminder to first check our own eyes for planks that may be obstructing our spiritual vision. Keeping that in mind, we should first be moved to repentance for our own sins so that we may receive mercy and forgiveness from the Father and then be used by Him to share the same with each other.  We must each check our heart to see if we have a critical spirit causing us to judge our brothers and sisters, repent and ask the Father for his Spirit of Mercy and Compassion (Mt 7:1-5). In all of our dealings with each other and those still in the world let us strive to follow the example of the Lord Jesus who possesses the fullness of the Godhead and yet ‘a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.’ (Mt. 12:20)

Knowing that judgment begins with the Body of Christ (1 Pe 4:17), let us purify ourselves. Let’s yield our hearts and minds and bodies to the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to bring forth His fruit in our lives (Tit 3:5; Gal 5:22-26). We see that the times we live in are truly evil and becoming more so every day. But we can rejoice that God is pouring out his Spirit and grace in overwhelming power in even greater abundance so that we can overcome the devil and his plans in every way (Ro 5:20,21; John 16:23; Ro 12:21; 1 Jo 5:4,5;  Rev 12:11).

Walking in love and humility, let’s make the most of every opportunity to serve our Lord (Gal 6:10). Let’s open our ‘ears’ to hear the word of God and boldly obey (Jas 1:22-25). As we are faithful God will be able to do through us everything He has already prepared for us to do (Eph 2:10). Hearts will be changed, souls saved, every sickness and infirmity healed, captives set free and the dead will be raised (Mk 16: 17-20). Our calling in Christ is to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect (Mt 5:48). We are called to do not just the wonders our Lord performed as recounted in the Gospel, but even greater ones as He works through us by the mighty power of his Spirit  (Jn 14:12).

The fields of God are ripe for harvest and we are the laborers in His service. As we ask the Father to send forth the laborers to harvest, let us also pray ‘Here am I Lord, send me (Jn 4:35; Mt 9:37,38; Isa 6:8).

The Roving Reporter

RR    : How did you find out about The Holy Way in Bealeton?
P N.     : My husband was working for the building contractor who built the prayer house.  After several    years of working at The Holy Way off and on he began to talk to Herry about spiritual matters. He realized the meetings sounded like something we would be interested in.  He attended one  meeting and than asked me to go and see what I thought.  We later attended a meeting together. That was a year and a half ago.

RR.     : Do you consider yourself an active member of the ministry?
P N.    : Yes - we regularly attend weekly and monthly meetings.  We also try to help in ways that are        needed.

RR.    : In your opinion, how is The Holy Way unique?
P N.    : It is unique to have a fellowship of believers where the leaders allow the meetings to flow             through the people as the Holy Spirit leads.  The meetings consist of mature Christians who know how to wait patiently and quietly for the Holy Spirit's leading and people who are  learning to hear the voice of the Lord.

RR.     : So then obviously your life has been affected. Can you give a brief testimony?
P N.     : The Lord had placed a desire in my husband's and my heart yearning for deeper waters.  I            believe He brought us to The Holy Way to refresh our spirits.  We have been through many trials in the past twenty years.  It is my hope that He plans to use these experiences to minister to others on the journey to His Kingdom.

RR.     : Is it your desire to share this Gospel ministry with others?
P N.     : Yes I do share this ministry with others.  I have found that not everyone is comfortable with          this freedom.  Those that have come to a meeting have expressed feeling the peace & presence of the Lord like they have not felt in a long time.  I have seen many people be ministered to this  past year.

RR.     : Thank you for this interview and let's give God the Glory!

We give special thanks to Vic Buzzanca  for the admirable job that he held down over the past year or so as our Interim Treasurer. Since he and Barb are moving  back to Florida, we send them off with  much gratitude for their loving and generous service freely extended to all  at The Holy Way. We also send them on their way with our love, prayer and blessing. To God be the Glory!

PARTAKERS  in PRAYER and PARTNERSHIP

One day, a discerning man of God learned of The Holy Way from afar and  became drawn to this ministry.  After spending much time in prayer, God spoke to the man, and out of the obedience and generosity of his heart he gave extraordinarily to establish two centers of worship and ministry, one in Bealeton Virginia, the other at Moravian Falls, North Carolina. Both of these places are moving by The Holy Spirit as people meet Jesus in a new way and are set free of old bondage’s, finding healing and renewed life. Recently a word from the Lord was spoken over Herry Stube,  promising even greater growth for this Kingdom work.
For those of you near and far who have been blessed by The Holy Way or who are just becoming aware of it, we believe the Lord is now calling you to assist in the advancement of this operation by financial support. Let it be so according to the word that the Lord Himself spoke:  “Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” {Luke 6:38}   Thank you.

New Life

My name is Mary Torres. I have been staying at the Holy Way here in Moravian Falls, North Carolina for almost 4 months.  When I first came here I was a lost soul.  I was addicted to drugs and sex.  I depended on drugs and sex to make me happy.  I was very depressed and had bad nerves.  I also was on my own, living from place to place. One night, I was kicked out of my recent home.  The weirdest part was that I had planned to commit suicide that same night.  I had no where to go.  Then the Holy Way came up and I did believe in Jesus, but I didn't like Christians.  But being desperate I came any ways.  I never met true Christians until I met the Chapmans.  They were so loving and invited me to stay with open arms and didn't judge me.  Jesus saved me in one night from all my drug and sex addictions and depression and nerve problems.  It was unbelievable, but as I have learned, God is of the impossible, not the possible.  He forgave me of all my sins and made me a new person.  I got baptized a couple days later and I am for the first time truly happy and free beyond what the world can imagine.  People may think they're missing out if they give their lives to Jesus, but the truth is that they are missing out without Jesus.  He changed my life and He can change your life too, if you let Him.  God is so good and He will take care of you.  Thank you Jesus for everything!
