PRESENCE

Seek, Enter and Dwell In The Manifest PRESENCE of God

      1. Your heart must be Prepared -

MT 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

      2. Your heart must be Receptive -

MT 10:40 "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me

receives the one who sent me
JN 20:21 Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me,

                                    I am sending you."
22 And with that he breathed on them and said,

                                    "Receive the Holy Spirit."

      3. You must allow your heart to surge with the Eagerness that comes from His Presence

            1TH 5:19 Do not put out the Spirit's fire;
20 do not treat prophecies with contempt.
21 Test everything. Hold on to the good.

      4. Your heart must be Submissive -
Do not allow your zeal to temp you to do things in the flesh

RO 10:1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God

for the Israelites is that they may be saved.
2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God,

but their zeal is not based on knowledge.
3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God

and sought to establish their own,
they did not submit to God's righteousness.
4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness

                                    for everyone who believes.

      5. You must allow God to Enable your heart

John 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing.

The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe."

For Jesus had known from the beginning

which of them did not believe and who would betray him.

65 He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me

unless the Father has enabled him."

      6. You must Nurture this enabling and abide in His Presence

JN 15:1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.

2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while

every branch that does bear fruit he prunes

so that it will be even more fruitful.

3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
                        4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself;

it must remain in the vine.

Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

JN 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me

                                    and I in him, he will bear much fruit;

apart from me you can do nothing.

6 If anyone does not remain in me,

                                    he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers;

such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you,

ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit,

showing yourselves to be my disciples.

JN 15:9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.

10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love,

just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.

11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you

and that your joy may be complete.

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

15 I no longer call you servants,

because a servant does not know his master's business.

Instead, I have called you friends,

for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose me, but I chose you

and appointed you to go and bear fruit—

                                    fruit that will last.

Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

17 This is my command: Love each other.

      7. You must Commune with the Lord as you commune within the Body

PHP 2:1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ,

if any comfort from his love,

if any fellowship with the Spirit,

                                    if any tenderness and compassion,

2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded,

having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,

but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests,

but also to the interests of others.

      8. And last but not least, your heart must Endure to dwell in His PRESENCE

RO 15:1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak

                                    and not to please ourselves.

2 Each of us should please his neighbor for his good,

                                    to build him up.
3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written:

"The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."
4 For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us,

so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures

                                    we might have hope.

RO 15:5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement

give you a spirit of unity among yourselves

                                    as you follow Christ Jesus,
6 so that with one heart and mouth

you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1TI 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into the world,

and we can take nothing out of it.

8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap

and into many foolish and harmful desires

that plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.

                                    Some people, eager for money,

                                    have wandered from the faith

and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11 But you, man of God, flee from all this,

                                    and pursue righteousness,

                                                godliness,

                                                faith,

                                                love,

                                                endurance and

                                                gentleness.
12 Fight the good fight of the faith.

Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called

when you made your good confession

in the presence of many witnesses.
13 In the sight of God, who gives life to everything,

                                    and of Christ Jesus, who

while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession,

                                    I charge you

14 to keep this command without spot or blame

until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 which God will bring about in his own time—

God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light,

whom no one has seen or can see.

To him be honor and might forever. Amen.

Rev14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints

                                    who obey God's commandments

                                    and remain faithful to Jesus
